Martin Yorath, DPM, is a licensed podiatric physician and surgeon. He is a graduate of the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He is Board Certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. In addition, Dr. Yorath also holds a podiatry qualification from the United Kingdom, where he practiced for approximately 12 years before coming to the United States of America. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, U.K. and a Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow)

Dr. Yorath has over 40 years of experience in the profession and specialty of podiatric medicine. He has both extensive clinical, as well as administrative experience. He served as the Chair of Surgery at Scholl College for 10 years, and as the Associate Dean for Residency Placement and Clerkships for 5 years. In addition he has lectured in numerous courses at the College in medicine, surgery and orthopedics. In addition, he serves as the Medical Director for the Rosalind Franklin University Health Clinics. He is also the Podiatry Residency Program Director at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, a position he has held for 20 years. Dr. Yorath has served as mentor and role model to numerous students and residents.

He has lectured both nationally, and internationally, and has authored and co-authored several articles pertaining to podiatric medicine and surgery, and has held several administrative positions. He currently serves as the Chair of Surgery / Anesthesia for the Council of Faculties for the American Association of the Colleges of Podiatric Medicine. He also regularly undertakes medical mission trips around the world, including Eritrea, and more recently India, focusing on reconstructive techniques to help those suffering from polio, leprosy, and other deformities affecting the lower extremities.
