The Team

RFU’s associate vice president for marketing and communications, Lisa is a strategic leader with deep experience in brand storytelling, PR and advertising across higher ed, healthcare and nonprofit sectors. She loves RFU, kayaking, and her dog, Wellington.

A New York City–based writer and editor with more than three decades of experience in various environments, Lauren likes theater, football, baseball, dogs, baked goods and making art.

Judy joined RFU in 2014 after nearly 20 years as a newspaper reporter. She likes reading about artists and scientists and hiking with her kids and grandkids.

Sara started college as pre-med, switched her major to English and has spent 20+ years writing about medical education and health care. Hobbies include baking, crosswords and not watching sports.

Sabreen specializes in content development for social media initiatives. When she is not analyzing engagement data, she likes to attend concerts, play guitar, travel and discover new restaurants.

Margaret is a Chicago-based writer and editor with a passion for storytelling about their community. When not wordsmithing, she enjoys swimming in Lake Michigan, visiting museums, and watching horror films.

Once a globetrotter, Amy now blends her 30-year career in editorial leadership, strategic communications and storytelling with purpose. She’s fueled by curiosity, caffeine and the occasional family road-trip playlist.

Max is a commercial and editorial photographer with 15+ years of experience. He specializes in lifestyle and portraiture. He enjoys spending time with his family and working on their 100-year-old house.

Jeff is the director of digital experience with RFU’s Division of Marketing and Brand Management.

Lisa is RFU’s marketing operations director, always trying to keep things moving and together. When not organizing, she is likely outside enjoying nature or refinishing furniture.
