Post-Doctoral PharmD Trainees Announced

Two post-doctoral PharmD trainees will be part of the College of Pharmacy for academic year 2023-2024. Nimrah Khan, PharmD is the PGY1 Community Pharmacy resident with Albertsons (Jewel-Osco) and is a 2023 graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Khan will be on campus weekly with the Pharmacy Skills Laboratory faculty and will provide patient care services at the Lake County Health Department under the supervision of Drs. Candelario and Srivastava.
Lejla Cukovic, PharmD is this year's Horizon Therapeutics Medical and Scientific Affairs fellow and is a 2023 graduate of the College of Pharmacy at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Cukovic will be on campus periodically with teaching responsibilities primarily in drug information and Pharmacotherapy VI.
Both Dr. Khan and Dr. Cukovic will participate in the College of Pharmacy Teaching Certificate Program with residents and fellows from partner organizations.
