Raúl Gazmuri, MD, PhD '94, FCCM, director of the Resuscitation Institute and professor of medicine and physiology and biophysics, received a three-year, $2 million grant from the Department of Defense for his research project "Sustained V1A Receptor Activation for Prolonged Hemodynamic Support and Neurological Protection After Non-Compressible Hemorrhage and Traumatic Brain Injury."
