At the conclusion of this seminar participants will be able to:
- Recognize the extent of racism and sexism in science and medicine, and the magnification of discrimination through their intersection
- Explain how biomedical progress is impeded by excluding or marginalizing women and people of color
- Recommend solutions to increase representation and promotion of women and BIPOC clinicians and scientists
