Goal I. Academic Excellence

1.1 Systematically engage in an academic portfolio review to meet anticipated and emergent needs in the interprofessional education of health and biomedical professionals

1.2 Approval and initial implementation of Lifestyle Medicine Programs

Goal 2. Research Excellence

2.1 Hire and retain sufficient key research faculty lines deemed essential to strategic research initiatives

2.2 Funding allocated to both new and current faculty researchers results in measurable increases in successful grant application funding, publication impact, and recruitment and retention of graduate students

Goal 3. Partnerships and Civic Engagement

3.1 Engage in the RFUMS-Lake County Health Department Academic-Public Health System Partnership

3.2 Increase year over year clinical training in the Advocate Aurora System and Northwestern Medicine

3.3 Participate in the Health Scholars Program offered in collaboration with Lake Forest College 

3.4 Support undergraduate research partnerships such as the one with Lake Forest College to increase awareness of RFU programs and research opportunities 

3.5 Increase interactions with all levels of government 

Goal 4. Integrity to Mission and Vision

4.1 Strategic enrollment targets are met, and provide expected annual revenue

4.2 Meaningful alumni and donor engagement will be achieved through intentional cultivation, meaningful volunteerism and personalized communication

4.3 The student debt-burden is decreased year over year in accordance to program specific strategy

4.4 Increase applications for traditionally underrepresented groups and/or value added groups by 5%
