The Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (BMS) program will prepare you to continue your graduate education in a variety of healthcare professions, including allopathic medicine, osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, and physician assistant studies. This academic enhancement program provides a rigorous background in the biomedical sciences in a challenging one-year course of study, providing you the opportunity to interact with students in other health profession degree programs. From 2015-2019, 69% of BMS students continued their education at RFU, including the Chicago Medical School, Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and physician assistant program. The program includes courses from two certificate tracks, health administration and population health strategies.

The faculty advising structure for students in the BMS program is dedicated to your academic, professional and personal development. The majority of our graduates use the foundation of their success in the BMS program to continue on to the next level of their health profession education.

Provided you are actively enrolled in BMS coursework, you'll be granted an interview in another RFU health profession program. You must apply and meet admission requirements of your chosen RFU program to receive the interview.
