Program Overview

BMS students learn medical-school level content in courses such as biochemistry, clinical molecular cell biology, physiology, and neuroscience, taught by Chicago Medical School faculty. Additionally, students take foundational courses in Clinical Medicine and Clinical Anatomy. The program understands the challenges and demands of preparing for careers in medicine and other health professions. Students will also take a Bioethics course alongside medical students and pharmacy students, and will also select two approved elective courses that align with their interests from one of our online programs including Health Administration, Population Health, Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine.

Provided you are actively enrolled in BMS coursework, you'll be granted an interview in another RFU clinical program of your choice, including those in Chicago Medical School, College of Health Professions, College of Pharmacy, or Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, provided you meet the admission requirements and complete the application process for your chosen RFU program.
