College of Pharmacy Interview Details

Interview Format: Your interview day is an important part of the Admissions Committee's assessment of candidates for admission. Interviews are not meant to be stressful, and your interviewer(s) will have had the opportunity to review your file prior to the interview. The interview is intended to be an exchange of information between you and your interviewer(s). It is likely that your interviewer(s) will ask about your interest in, and knowledge of, Pharmacy as a career.

An equally important purpose of the interview day is to give you a chance to learn more about The College of Pharmacy and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. You will be able to ask faculty, staff, and student ambassadors any questions you may have. Student ambassadors will take you to lunch and give you a tour of campus. If you have any dietary restrictions, please contact our office as soon as possible.

The day will conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m.

If your plans change and you are no longer able to attend, please notify our office via phone or email. We ask that you notify us at least a business day prior to your scheduled interview. Applicants who fail to provide timely notification regarding an interview cancellation may be in violation of PharmCAS's Interview No-Show Policy.

Check-in Instructions: Please plan to arrive before 9:15 a.m. Check-in will take place in the lobby of our Main Entrance (A on the campus map). The Admissions Committee cannot guarantee an interview to a late applicant. Business attire is highly recommended.

To ensure that the interview process runs smoothly and to allow for the possibility of delays beyond your control, (i.e. weather, traffic, etc.) we suggest that if you are from outside the area that you arrive in North Chicago one day early. All transportation and accommodation expenses are your responsibility.

Traveling to Campus

Please take a moment to review our campus map to locate the Main Entrance (A on the map). Once you arrive at the Main Entrance you will easily locate the check-in table.

If you will be driving a car, turn onto campus using North Drive then take the first right and find a parking spot in the Visitor Lot. If no spots are available there, proceed to the South Parking Lot. Parking on campus is free so long as you do not park in any specially designated or reserved spots.

A travel planner is available for long- and short-distance travel information.
