Deciding where you will live and learn for graduate school is a big decision, and nothing beats an in-person campus visit to experience your options first hand. Join us on campus for Open Houses, Information Sessions and university tours to connect with current students and faculty and see RFU in action, from our state-of-the-art simulation facilities, research labs and interprofessional-focused classes, to the places where students keep fit, relax and call home during their time at RFU.
Open houses are hosted in the fall and spring. Attending an open house is a great opportunity to interact with faculty and students from your program of interest, and speak with our knowledgeable admissions staff to learn more about the application process.
Information sessions give you an opportunity to meet in small groups with an admissions representative. Information sessions are held every other week on Thursdays at the RFU campus from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and include an admissions and university overview.
Getting to RFU is easy. Located in northeastern Lake County, Illinois, we’re situated 36 miles north of the city of Chicago and 56 miles south of Milwaukee. If you’re not traveling by car, we’re just 28 miles from O’Hare International Airport. We can also be reached by train via the Metra Union Pacific North Line from Ogilvie Transportation Center in downtown Chicago.
Local accommodations: A range of hotels, as well as restaurants and other attractions, are available near our campus.
