Faculty should arrive at Credit Union 1 Arena, 525 S. Racine Ave., Chicago, Illinois, at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026. If you are driving to the ceremony, parking is available in the parking garage adjacent to the arena, or in the surface lot across from the arena for $10. If you are being dropped off at Credit Union 1 Arena, please direct your driver to Gate 2.

Faculty will enter through Gate 2, which is accessible off of Harrison St. You do not need a ticket to enter the arena. We will have staff directly inside the gate to assist you upon arrival.

As part of its normal safety protocol, Credit Union 1 Arena requires all who are entering the facility to go through metal detectors for the safety of all, and has limits on bags allowed at entry.

Construction Notice

Expect travel delays into downtown Chicago due to significant road construction. Please allow ample travel time if you are driving downtown — as significant delays are expected — or consider utilizing public transportation.

Regalia and Processional

Rented regalia will be available in your staging area.

If you own your regalia, you will need to bring your regalia and take it home with you after the ceremony.
