Platform Party Arrival Instructions

Dignitaries should arrive at Credit Union 1 Arena, 525 S. Racine Ave., Chicago, Illinois, at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026. If you are driving to the ceremony, parking is available in the parking garage adjacent to the arena for $10. If you are being dropped off at Credit Union 1 Arena, please direct your driver to Gate 2.

As part of its normal safety protocol, Credit Union 1 Arena requires all who are entering the facility to go through metal detectors for the safety of all.

Construction Notice

Expect travel delays into downtown Chicago due to significant road construction. Please allow ample travel time if you are driving downtown — as significant delays are expected — or consider utilizing public transportation.

Regalia

Rented regalia will be available in your staging area. Owned regalia must be brought to the Division of Student Success and Wellness by May 18–22, 2026. Regalia in need of cleaning and pressing will be prepared by dry cleaning service. The Division of Student Success and Wellness will transport 
your regalia and it will be in the platform party staging area when you arrive.
