The Rosalind Franklin University fitness center is designed to help students and faculty reach their goals of physical wellness. Not only does the fitness center feature a variety of cardio machines, free weights and lifting equipment, there are numerous options available for everyone. Inside you will find a punching bag, aerobic equipment and empty floor space for floor work as well. Three walls of the gym are covered with mirrors and there are scales available for your use. Also look to the bulletin board for information on everything from proper technique and stretching to tips on how to eat right and get enough sleep. There is even a place for you to write down your suggestions and comments. The fitness center is free to all students and staff with a valid Rosalind Franklin University ID.

The Office of Student Life provides weekly fitness classes that are free to all RFUMS students. Classes are offered on campus and also at the Lake Bluff Park District. Classes are on a first come first serve basis and may have limited numbers available for each session.

A non-impact weights-based class that works
every major muscle group in the body using
weights, a bar, and step. It strengthens, conditions,

Tuesdays: Yoga Class
5-6pm
Rhoades Auditorium on Campus
A conditioning class for your mind, body and soul, along with promoting an overall sense of well-being.
This class will improve your strength, flexibility and breathing. All levels welcome. Free to all students.
Mats are provided, but if you have your own, bring it and a towel.
Tuesdays: Cardio Aerobics Class
4-4:50pm

This class wil build your cardio endurance using different formats of cardio classes like step, kickboxing, piloxing and dance. This class is great for toning, cardio and strengthening your core and upper and lower body. Wear comfortable clothing, proper tennis shoes and bring water/towel.

The Office of Student Life provides intramurals in the sports listed below. Different sports are offered during the fall, winter, spring and summer semesters and can be either a competitive league or pick-up session.
Intramurals offered:
