The Office of Graduate Medical Education assists the University’s Graduate Medical Education programs [Residencies and Fellowships] and trainees in matters to assure compliance with rules and regulations, both within the university and outside agencies; which include but are not limited to:

  1. University and Medical School Policies and Procedures including Grievances,

  2. State of Illinois Medical Licenses,

  3. Visas and IAP-66's,

  4. Training Program contracts,

  5. Salaries and Benefits for trainees paid by CMS, and

  6. Graduation from GME training programs.

  7. ACGME [Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education] institutional polices, residency review and fellowship review committee regulations.
