The medical education program leading to the M.D. degree at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science is fully accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
The LCME is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the accrediting authority for medical education programs within the United States leading to the M.D. degree. Students and graduates of medical education programs accredited by the LCME are eligible to take the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). Graduates from institutions whose programs are accredited by the LCME have unrestricted eligibility to enter graduate medical education programs accredited by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
