Reimagining RFU’s Center for Advanced Simulation in Health Care

RFU has long led the way in using digital health technologies and AI to change how we are delivering and experiencing healthcare education. An early adopter of healthcare simulation, RFU is a national leader and accredited center of excellence in simulation-based education, which improves patient outcomes, bolsters learner confidence and optimizes healthcare-team performance.

Our virtual health system (VHS) is the next step in this evolution. This future-focused space will improve critical thinking, enhance response times and prepare future healthcare providers for real-life emergencies, resulting in more effective patient care.

The vision of our simulation program is that every health professional has the best training possible so that every patient has the best care possible.

We invite RFU, the community and colleagues to join us in realizing this vision — where innovation, education and patient-centered care meet to optimize the future of healthcare delivery.

We are creating a place where students can experience real-world scenarios in a safe learning environment — where they can immerse in the stress and complexity of an ICU or ER or labor-and-delivery room — and learn to react to escalating situations. As they act, receive feedback and act again, students develop the skills, critical thinking, understanding and muscle memory required by our evolving healthcare workforce.
