Mini Medical School Year 2

Year 2 is designed for returning students ready for advanced science and application after completion of Year 1. This program emphasizes critical thinking and scientific discovery through the seven organ systems.

Students take part in:

• Pre– and post–quizzes
• Experiments guided by anatomy/physiology principles
• Community–building circles and team–based inquiry
• Final Science Fair project: each student selects a disease, completes research assignments throughout the year, and presents a poster at the culminating fair

9 am–9:10: Pre–Quiz

9:10–11: Experiment Session

11–11:30: Lunch at DNA Cafe

11:30 am–12:00 pm: Vaccine Education

12:00–12:45: Anatomy & Physiology

12:45–1:00: Post quiz & quiz review
