Accreditation

The College of Nursing at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science houses three academic programs. Their accreditation information is listed below.

• Master of Science in Nursing for Entry into Nursing Practice (MSN-ENP)
  • The Master of Science in Nursing program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
• RFU College of Nursing offers the following specialty tracks in the DNP program: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and Nurse Anesthesia.
  
  • The Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

The RFU College of Nursing offers post-graduate certificates in its nurse practitioner specialty tracks. 

The post-graduate APRN certificate program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science is pursuing initial accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). Applying for accreditation does not guarantee that accreditation will be granted.

• Doctor of Nursing Practice: Nurse Anesthesia Entry (DNP)
  • The RFU Nurse Anesthesia Program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA), 10274 W. Higgins Rd., Suite 906, Rosemont, IL 60018-5603; 224-275-9130. The program’s next review by the COA is scheduled for 2032.
