Alison Joseph, DPM

Assistant Professor

Dr. Joseph graduated from Saint Mary’s College in 2003 with a BA in psychology. She then obtained her DPM degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (Kent State). Following podiatry school, Dr. Joseph completed a 3-year surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Joseph was then hired by University Hospital in Newark, NJ as an attending for the podiatry residency where she trained residents in the clinical, operative and hospital setting. Dr. Joseph was also the student externship coordinator where she mentored students during their one-month rotations at the hospital. Dr. Joseph has a great passion for teaching and is beyond thrilled to be a new assistant professor at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Joseph has a great interest in treating diabetic foot disorders/limb salvage as well as trauma of the foot and ankle. Dr. Joseph is board qualified in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction/ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
