Frank DiLiberto, PT, PhD, OCS, FAAOMPT

Assistant Professor

Dr. DiLiberto earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Science and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College. He is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, completing his fellowship training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a PhD in Health Practice Research, specializing in foot and ankle biomechanics, at the University of Rochester. His clinical practice focuses on outpatient orthopaedic and vestibular rehabilitation. Dr. DiLiberto’s research examines foot and ankle biomechanics in pathology and rehabilitation. He is specifically interested on examining the physiological and biomechanical underpinnings of movement impairments in people with Diabetes Mellitus and ankle osteoarthritis, with the intention of developing new and effective treatments for these populations.
