Monideepa B. Becerra, DrPH, MPH

Dr. Monideepa Becerra holds a Doctor of Public Health in Health Education, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy, and several certificates, such as in Legal Epidemiology and Health Geo-Informatics. Her research focuses on advancing health outcomes by driving data-informed decision-making and integrating community-engaged solutions in population health. Dr. Becerra has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, including cross-sector collaborations with National Institutes of Health (NIH), Loma Linda University (California), and the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital (Wisconsin).
She has also served as a research mentor through nationally recognized programs such as the Network for Public Health Law, the American Public Health Association, and the NIH’s AIM-AHEAD program. As Chair of the Department of Population Health and Administration at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Dr. Becerra’s mission is to harness interprofessional innovation, translational research, and strategic partnerships to co-create sustainable, scalable solutions that address both emerging and persistent population health challenges.
