Dr. Paul Fina, PharmD, BCACP, BCPS, CSSGB earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Cellular Biology and Chemistry from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He then earned his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) from the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. After graduation, he completed a Community Pharmacy Residency with Jewel-Osco and Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in Downers Grove, IL. He worked for Jewel-Osco Pharmacy for several years before pursuing additional training by completing a second year residency in Medication Use Safety at the Pharmacy Benefits Management Veterans Affairs Center for Medication Safety. There he found his passions for continuous quality improvement and data analysis. Dr. Fina was a faculty member at Chicago State University (CSU) College of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (CHSP) for 7 years before joining Rosalind Franklin University. At CSU CHSP, he led several curriculum, assessment, and accreditation actions across the pharmacy and nursing programs.
