After obtaining a BA in classics and philosophy from the University of Illinois, Robert Aitchison worked as a technician in high fidelity mannequin simulation, with standardized patients, and both animal and human cadaveric specimens at both Rosalind Franklin University and Evanston Hospital. He obtained his masters of science in physician assistant practice from Rosalind Franklin University in 2015. He then completed the Jane R. Perlman fellowship in emergency medicine. He worked in NorthShore University HealthSystem’s emergency departments and earned a certificate of added qualification in emergency medicine from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
