Timothy Mallers, Jr., MSN

I have been a practicing nurse since 2015, graduating from Cohort 2 of the DePaul MENP program at Rosalind Franklin University. Prior to becoming a nurse, I worked as a scientist in the Microbiology and Immunology department at Rosalind Franklin University.

As a nurse, I have worked in both the inpatient and outpatient setting and across several different areas of healthcare. I have worked in the intensive care unit, the clinical research unit, functional neurosurgery, Covid-19 inpatient units, and Covid-19 testing stations.

I enrolled in a nursing PhD program in 2021 and anticipate completion in Spring 2027. The questions asked and discoveries made in nursing research have such a wide ranging and significant impact on the care of patients; all those protocols and standard operating procedures start from somewhere!

I just celebrated 10 years of marriage with my wife and we are currently doing our best to raise our 3 boys. Playing baseball, golf, fishing, guitar, piano, and going to the Farmer's Market are just some of the ways we enjoy our time together.
