Sophomore Pathology Course
The sophomore pathology course is designed to provide our students with a suitable background in pathology for their further studies in medicine. The course is intended to bridge the basic science and clinical disciplines, and to provide a vocabulary of disease as well as a basic understanding of the responses of cells and organ systems to disease processes. Students must demonstrate a basic knowledge of the facts and concepts of general pathology, of the principal disorders of each organ system, and a reasoned approach to laboratory testing.
