Shelly Brzycki, MS

Ms. Shelly Brzycki is the inaugural RFU Dean of Students. In this role she oversees the Division of Student Success and Wellness which includes campus life, academic support, accessibility services, student health and wellness, student housing, and fitness and recreation. In her role, she collaborates closely with university leadership and academic units to ensure student success on campus.

Ms. Brzycki earned her Master of Science Degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2005, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2002. Ms. Brzycki also holds a certification in Working with Substance Abusers from the University of Wisconsin, and is certified in Mental Health First Aid.

Ms. Brzycki began her career at RFU in 2005 as the Student Life Coordinator. She has also held the roles of Program Director of Student Life, Executive Director of Campus Life, and most recently served as our Associate Vice President of Student Affairs. Prior to RFU, Ms. Brzycki was a Residential Program Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Ms. Brzycki has extensive experience in the development of student conduct policies and procedures, community development, wellness initiatives, and large-scale university programs that contribute to the academic success of each student.
