Office of the Provost

The Office of the Provost cultivates and embraces a culture of excellence, teamwork, and scholarship that promotes faculty and student success across the academy. By providing a foundation and infrastructure that supports collaboration, individuals create and innovate across the university, as well as with academic, clinical and community partners to advance the university's mission to improve the wellness of all people through innovative, interprofessional education of health and biomedical professionals and the discovery and implementation of knowledge. The university's core values of collaboration, excellence, innovation, integrity, justice, respect and scholarship underlie and guide our ongoing efforts.

With a focus on interprofessionalism as the cornerstone of education and practice, the office prioritizes faculty and student success, as well as a culture of accreditation and assessment within a diverse and inclusive environment. Areas that report to the Office of the Provost include the Deans of the University's six Colleges and Schools, Academic & Faculty Affairs, Interprofessional Education & Simulation, Office of Clinical Partnerships, and Student Success & Wellness.
