House Council

The House Council provides a mechanism for student governance in the House and Learning Community Program. It offers opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills through planning and implementing peer mentoring, wellness, social and diversity activities for mutual support and engagement. Student leaders plan and coordinate House Council events such as the annual Field Day.

The Executive Committee of the House Council acts as the governing body for each Learning Community (Emanuel House, Finkel House, Lipschultz House, and Portes House) and is comprised of 8 medical students who meet monthly.
