Diane Bridges, MSN, RN, CCM, Acting Chair for the Department of Health Services Administration and Director of the Health Administration program, and Marilyn Hanson, MEd, Director of Health Professions Education program in the College of Health Professions, published an article in Health and Interprofessional Practice entitled, "Mapping and Integrating Online Interprofessional Teaching Strategies to Achieve Interprofessional Student Competencies."

Students enrolled in HHCM525 Strategic Planning and Leadership in the Fall 2012 quarter had the opportunity to participate in a Live Streaming session from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) annual conference in San Antonio, Texas. The session was presented by Patrick Lencioni is founder and president of The Table Group, Inc., a firm dedicated to providing organizations with ideas, products and services that improve teamwork, clarity and employee engagement. Pat is the author of eight best-selling books with over 2.5 million copies sold and foreign translation into 22 languages. The event was coordinated by the Health Administration program’s faculty advisor for MGMA, Dr. Linda Mast who is a Fellow in the College of Medical Practice Executives.
September, 2012: Dr.Linda Mast, Associate Professor in the Health Administration Program, was awarded a grant from Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) to write a white paper about online program accreditation.

August, 2012: . Dr. Linda Mast, Associate Professor in the Health Administration Program, gave a presentation at the annual Master Teacher Guild Annual Conference on Creating a Culture of Educational Excellence titled “Extracurricular Strategies for Building Community in a Graduate Level Online Learning Environment”

First Annual Honor Society Induction Ceremony was held May 16, 2012. Twenty-two students were inducted!
