How to Apply

  1. Review the Application Requirements
    • Create an account with the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) and review the application instructions.
      • Application opens May 1.
      • The deadline is November 15 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
      • Early Decision Program (EDP) applications must be received on or before August 3, 2020.
      • Beginning with the 2019-20 cycle, the Chicago Medical School uses rolling admission and encourages students to apply early in the cycle for best consideration.
      • Given that AMCAS is delaying the transmission of AMCAS application data to medical schools by two weeks (June 26th to July 10th), CMS will move their AMCAS application deadline from November 1st to November 15th for the 2020 cycle. Should the AAMC make additional changes to the timeline of deadlines related to COVID-19 pandemic, the committee will reevaluate their deadlines as well at that time.
