Grad Requirements


Students will graduate from our program with the completion of the following requirements

  • Successful completion of all required courses in the Master's of Science in Nurse Anesthesia program

  • Students must be in compliance with Nurse Anesthesia Department grading standards
    • Students must maintain quarterly grade point average of 3.0 on a 4 scale throughout his/her course of study
    • No grade less than 80% in any HNAS prefix course or the MCBA 501 Clinical Anatomy course
  • Satisfactory completion of all Council on Accreditation requirements relative to case numbers, clinical hours, and clinical practicum course
    • Students must be in compliance with Department policies for drug screening
  • Recommendation to the Board of Trustees by the department faculty via the Dean of the College of Health Professions, through the University President
