Application Process

A key to success is to apply when you are ready and have time to commit to creating a complete application package.

The Office of Admissions will acknowledge receipt of your application. This acknowledgement begins the process of evaluation of your credentials; however, your file will remain on hold until all necessary documents have been received by the college.

Once received by the department from the Admissions Office, the department review each application to ensure it is complete and compliant with the admission practices set by Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and the College of Health Professions (CHP).  Once this step is complete, an email will be sent to confirm whether your application will be held for additional documentation, or forwarded to the admission committee for a decision.

Once an application is sent to the admission committee, it can take anywhere from one to three weeks for a decision to be made. Interviews are granted to select applicants by the admission committee, and are held on several dates throughout the cycle.  Interviews typically last four hours and include a meeting with the department chair, a presentation by the Assistant Program Director, a student-led tour of  the campus, and interviews with program faculty.
