The following preparation is required for successful candidates for the Doctorate in Psychology program:

Academic Preparation

• A minimum of 15 credit hours of psychology, including a course in statistics and biological psychology.
• A minimum overall GPA of 3.20 for the last two years of undergraduate study is required.

Bachelor’s Degree

•  Prior to matriculation, students must earn a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

GRE

• The Advanced Psychology GRE is required for students who either are not undergraduate Psychology majors or have an earned Master’s degree in a non-Psychology discipline.

• GRE scores must be sent directly to Rosalind Franklin University from Education Testing Services (ETS).

Letters of Recommendation

• Three letters of recommendation from former professors, or employers, familiar with the applicant's professional or educational capabilities.  
• Two of these letters should come from faculty who have taught you in a class.

Transcripts

• Official transcripts submitted from each college, university, and community college previously attended.

Computer Proficiency

• Basic computer skills.
