Thank you for your interest in Student Housing at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science!
New students interested in Student Housing are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Submitting your application by the listed deadlines will ensure consideration for the Student Housing lottery.
If you miss the application deadline to be considered for the Student Housing lottery, you are still encouraged to apply. Student Housing will maintain a waiting list of students who are interested in Student Housing, but whom did not participate in the initial Student Housing lottery. Throughout the Summer, apartments may become available-so don’t delay your application.
Remember, Student Housing applications aren’t binding….but Student Housing Contracts are. Contracts will be granted to students based on a lottery selection. Only students with confirmed admission to the University will be granted Contracts. After the initial set of completed Contracts have been returned to the Office of Student Housing, Contracts will be issued to students on the waiting list. Contracts will continue to be issued until all spaces are filled.
A completed application for Student Housing does not secure a space for students in on-campus housing. Only when a student returns a Student Housing Contract with the required $500 prepayment and that Contract is accepted by the Coordinator of Student Housing will a student be assured a space. Contract acceptance will be indicated in writing, along with a confirmed assignment and move-in information at a later date.
