Are there any prerequisite courses for admission?
We do not require any specific coursework. We require all students have a bachelor's degree and at least one year of RN ICU experience. 

What is the timeline for the admissions process?

  • To simplify and facilitate the admissions process, RFUMS utilizes the Nursing Centralized Application Service.
  • Applications for the 2014-2015 admissions cycle will be available in early March.
  • Application must be submitted by June 15.he application opens March 1 and all application materials must be postmarked no later than August 1. Interviews are held on campus between August and October.

When does the program start?
Classes begin in the Summer term.

How long is the program?
The program is 9 academic quarters or approximately 27 months of study.

Can I transfer into the program?
The College of Health Professions does not accept transfer students. On a case by case basis, the admissions committee will review graduate coursework to award credit.
