Dr. Frost received his B.A. in Biology from Reed College in 1978, and his Ph.D. in Physiology from Columbia University in 1987.  His postdoctoral research was at the University of Iowa.  He was an Assistant Professor  and then Associate Professor from 1989 to 1998 at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.  He joined the faculty of The Chicago Medical School in 1998.
