Christine M. Wellington, BSc, MS, RD is a lecturer for the Department of Nutrition at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, College of Health Profession teaching online. She earned her undergraduate degree in nutrition at the University of Western Ontario in 1977 and then her Master of Science in Nutrition and Clinical Dietetics from then-named Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 2004 where she won the Award for Outstanding Nutrition Education Module.
A registered dietitian in both the United States and Canada, Christine has over 30 years of experience in both clinical and community nutrition.Christine is currently employed by the Windsor Family Health Team in a dual role as a dietitian and health promoter. she is an active researcher with nine publications in the last two years and she has two more forthcoming including on at the 2012 American Dietetic Association Annual Conference. In her lifetime she has published 4 journal articles and a chapter in a book. Christine has made 7 previous poster presentations at the American Dietetic Association annual conference resulting in 7 published abstracts in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association. She has also presented to the Canadian Dietetic Association Annual Conference where she has 1 published abstract and the Canadian Diabetes Association where she has 4 published abstracts.
