Stuart Goldman, MD, serves as vice chair in the department of family and preventive medicine and M3 clerkship director.
He joined Chicago Medical School in 2007 because he wanted students to develop an interest in outpatient family medicine.
For the clerkship, he structured an interactive didactic curriculum utilizing evidence-based medicine.
He expanded the number of quality preceptors by 1/3 to accommodate larger groups of students.
He also developed a family medicine sub-internship for M4s.
His interests are patient safety systems, geriatrics, clinical problem solving, and provision of office-based quality patient care protocols.
He enjoys running, biking, bowling, and playing with his 6 grandchildren.
